Dear friends hope that you are practicing well.
Now I am providing you with the solutions of chapter 1(Introduction)


Before I start providing you the solutions I would like to give a brief introduction of chapter.

In this chapter you have studied about macro and microscopic thermodynamics,  system and its types,  processes i.e. extensive and intensive,  Thermodynamic equilibrium and also about quasi-equilibrium process commonly known as quasi-static process.
At last you have studied about Concept of Continuum.

This is all I have to say on this chapter. These problems are of 4th edition. 

One more thing I want to say ( which I have also mentioned in previous posts) that please do not follow the solutions blindly. firstly try yourself and if find difficulty in solving, then only look the solutions.

After few days I will be publishing solutions of chapter seven (i.e. ENTROPY ) so stay connected.
